The Sikkim Government on Sunday has extended the Covid-19 lockdown till June 14. The State has been in complete lockdown since May 16 amid the rise of the Covid-19 cases in the second wave of the pandemic.
The State, however, has announced additional relaxations for the help of the people. The ration shops can now open between 7 AM and 2 PM.
Sikkim government has further allowed hardware shops to open till 2 PM. It has also permitted movement of vehicles carrying hardware items.
The new set of guidelines mentioned the State Government offices will function with 30% attendance.
The Government further said it will vaccinate 65,000 individuals within the age group of 18-44 in June.
