Festivals are incomplete without the Indian ethnic wear and saree is one of them.
It goes without saying that the Indian festivals are all about showcasing the rich traditions, customs of the country and the feeling of wearing a saree is something different.
'Queen' of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut has recently shared wearing her six-yard drape with a lot of grace and gorgeousness - just so perfect for the festive season.
Kangana looked resplendent in a bright South Indian silk saree during her visit to Puratchi Thalaivii Amma Dr J Jayalalithaa Memorial in Chennai as she began promotions for 'Thalaivi'.
The National Award winning actress exuded vintage charm as she styled the simple tangerine saree with a golden-rani pink border with a statement multicoloured choker and a pair of matching earrings.
She opted for a middle-parted bun and adorned it with a gajra, perfectly complementing her brightly-hued saree. She wore a matching orange colour blouse with a V neck. She kept her makeup subtle and looked graceful.
India is home to different types of silk sarees - Banarasi, Kanjeevaram, Bhagalpuri, Pochampally to name a few. Opt for one and take a cue from Kangana to bring together the 'desi girl' look. Time to make heads turn, girls!
