The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, is carrying out raids at 72 locations across the country in a gangster case. The massive raids are currently underway in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Delhi-NCR.

The raids were carried out in connection with cases registered by NIA against gangster and their criminal syndicate.

In 2022, the NIA registered a case after it emerged that #terrorist outfits based abroad were operating in close coordination with the criminal gangs in northern states of the country to commit targeted killings and violent criminal acts.
