Regé-Jean Page, who soared to fame after starring in Netflix’s 'Bridgerton', has reportedly been named the most attractive man in the world, according to science. The 34-year-old actor who played Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings in the smash hit period drama, was analysed against ancient scientific research and the results proved his face was a real money-maker.
The 'Bridgerton' star's face was scientifically analyzed using the Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi, an ancient system that measures physical perfection via the symmetry of someone's face, and Page's was found to be 93.65 per cent accurate. A Harley Street facial cosmetic surgeon, Dr Julian De Silva made the list by using the latest computerised mapping techniques and regularly turns to the technology in his everyday work. The scientific 'Golden Ratio' was used by Leonardo Da Vinci, and the mathematical formula has since been adapted to decipher what makes someone typically "beautiful."
The length and width of someone's face is measured, and the results are divided. The closer the ratios are to the Phi number (1.618), the more aesthetically beautiful they are declared. Page's attractiveness was closely followed by 'Thor's Chris Hemsworth (93.53 per cent), 'Black Panther's Michael B Jordan (93.46 per cent), 'As It Was' singer Harry Styles (92.30 per cent), and England footballer Jude Bellingham (92.22 per cent).
