A group named ‘Hindu Sena’ has filed a PIL in Delhi High Court against the film ‘Adipurush’ and claimed that the film mocked Lord Ram, Ramayana, and the culture.

‘Adipurush’ was released in theaters on June 17 and since the release of the film, social media is filled with a variety of reactions to the film with some praising the film while others objecting to the different aspects of the film.

The plea seeks directions to remove or rectify the objectionable scenes related to the Hindu gods Ram, Ravana, Sita and Hanuman. It alleges that the depiction of these deities in the film is inaccurate and inappropriate.
