Air India Passenger Bitten By Scorpion Onboard Nagpur-Mumbai Flight

A scorpion bit a woman passenger onboard an Air India flight. The airline said that it followed the required protocol and found the scorpion on its aircraft.

In a shocking incident, a woman passenger was bitten by a scorpion onboard an Air India flight from Nagpur to Mumbai last month.

However, air India on Saturday, May 6, issued an apology to the woman.

The incident took place on April 23 on Air India Nagpur-Mumbai fight AI 630.

On landing at the airport, the passenger was attended by a doctor, subsequently treated at a hospital and discharged. 

Post landing at the Mumbai airport, the aircraft was checked, the scorpion was found and fumigation was carried out.
