Ever since the release of ‘Adipurush’, many have called for a ban on the movie for its wrongful depiction of the Hindu epic Ramayan. All Indian Cine Workers Association has now come out against ‘Adipurush’ for hurting the sentiments of Hindus. The film is especially facing backlash for some of its dialogues, which are called out for being crass. In a detailed statement, the association has requested PM Narendra Modi to ban ‘Adipurush’ immediately for defaming the image of Lord Ram. The association also demanded an FIR be filed against the film’s director Om Raut and dialogue writer Manoj Muntasir Shukla. The statement further said that Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan shouldn’t have been part of the film, which is a complete disaster. Notably, the box office collection of ‘Adipurush’ has also taken a huge hit on June 19 as the ticket sales drastically went down by 75 per cent.
