India's star sprinter Hima Das will miss the Asian Games in China later this year due to injury issues. 23-year-old Hima suffered a hamstring injury in April and it is expected to keep the young sprinter out of action for a couple more months. India's athletics chief coach Radhakrishnan Nair said that apart from the hamstring injury, Hima has also had some back injury issues. The Asian Games, which were postponed from last year, will be held in Hangzhou from September 23 to October 8. Notably, the chief coach has also provided an update on the injury of Neeraj Chopra. Notably, Neeraj Chopra has pulled out from FBK Games in the Netherlands and Paavo Nurmi Games in Finland due to a muscle strain. "He (Neeraj) has started his training last week and should be in good health by the end of this month," Nair said. The National Inter-State Championship is set to begin on June 15, Thursday and the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) is set to carry out 'In Competition' (IC) testing at the Kalinga Stadium.
