Observing that the prime minister is a vegetarian, First Lady Jill Biden asked for a special vegetarian menu, which includes marinated millet, stuffed mushrooms and risotto.

US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden, are slated to host a state dinner for Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the White House on Thursday, June 22.  
 
According to reports, the menu includes lemon-dill yogurt sauce, crisped millet cakes, summer squashes, marinated millet and grilled corn kernel salad, compressed watermelon, tangy avocado sauce, stuffed portobello mushrooms, creamy saffron-infused risotto, rose and cardamom-infused strawberry shortcake.

The State Dinner will be followed by a performance by Grammy-winning musician Joshua Bell.
 
Moreover, Biden and the First Lady will also host a State Dinner at the South Lawn of the White House, which is expected to be attended by 400 guests.
